Welcome to Basil and bite

I’m Elien Lewis, author, home-taught baker and cook. You might already know me from my baking over at Baking with Butter or Home Grown Happiness. I love cooking, baking, and everything sourdough! My food interests are super varied. I used to keep them all on one page, but now I love having a seperate little nook for each. For this site I wanted to publish recipes that focus on meal times and making food easily and quickly. They’re recipes I make at home for my family, or things my kids take to school in their lunchboxes. I hope you love them as much as I do, and I’m so glad you’re here!
